For all on site training and classes in Singapore:


Our booking system:

Our booking system is simple! Just book your preferred slots with us at the very beginning,

or contact us to arrange the bookings. We respond to you very quickly to process your bookings 

(typically within an hour or 2*).

Sessions are advised to be booked at the very beginning / in advance in order to secure your most preferred slot(s).
To book session(s) / make any booking requests (cancellations/postpone/scheduling),

please do so by contacting us via our phone contact by SMS.
Postponing / Cancelling session(s) are advised to be done in advance to prevent ‘less-than-ideal availability of slots in schedule. Cancellation & postpone policy will apply (See our ‘Terms & Conditions’).

It’s recommended to postpone/cancel session(s) with general reasons at least 2 days in advance.

For urgent reasons, try to do so at least 24 hours in advance, if not possible – No worries, let us know

as soon as you can. Note that our cancellation & postpone policy will apply, but we will only enforce it

if we have to, and we’ll try to waive it off whenever we can / if you have legitimate emergency.

(These include sudden bad weather, menstruation, etc).


Qn: What if it rains or there's just bad weather right before the training starts or during the training?

Ans: To answer this question effectively, let's separate it into 2 parts:

First is for swimming lessons, and the other is for other outdoor type sessions.

1. ​Swimming lessons:

More than 90 mins before the start of the lesson - We will monitor the weather forecast and will advise you if necessary, so that you can choose whether to carry on the lesson or not (Our coaches are normally okay to carry on the lesson under the rain unless there's a real significant safety risk). If the pool that we're using has strict closing rules on bad weather (eg; Sports complex pools), we will cancel the lesson due to the risk of pool closure in order to avoid a wasted trip. During this time, you reserve the full right to make changes to the lesson without forfeiture, so if you decide that the weather might affect your lesson later, please reschedule/change your

lesson immediately by sending us a SMS.

90 mins prior to the start of the lesson, to the start of the lesson - If bad weather suddenly occurs, we will immediately cancel the lesson and waive forfeiture, if we're using a pool with closing rules on bad weather. Alternatively, you can also choose to do a theory-based lesson if you're okay with it. If not if it's at other pools, we will still carry on the lesson one way or another (theory or practical, etc), as changes will not be allowed at this point due to our booking policy. If the trainee, however, still wish to call off the session due to the weather, then we will try our best to waive off forfeiture but this will be under our full discretion depending on the case. We will of course, try to avoid this by monitoring the weather forecast as much in advance beforehand. During this time, if bad weather occurs and you made up your mind to cancel/make changes to your lesson, let us know immediately via SMS, and we will

accommodate and do our best to waive forfeiture.

During the lesson itself (in a pool with bad weather closing rules) - If bad weather suddenly occur, the pool management will deny usage of the pool, so at that point, we can either carry on the lesson in theory for the remaining part, or call it a day and resume the lesson on the subsequent session(s) of the package, and we will strive to push the unused time to be used on the subsequent remaining session(s) of the package, without extending the number of sessions within the package. If the lesson is conducted in a pool without these rules (eg; most condo pools), then it will be up to the trainee to decide if he/she wishes to carry on the lesson or not. We as the coaches, are usually okay to carry on the lesson under rain unless there is a significant safety risk. If the trainee decides to stop the lesson, we may exercise our right to enforce the forfeit policy and forfeit the lesson - This will depend on the situation.

2. Other outdoor type sessions:

At any point of time if bad weather occurs, the training will, carry on in a sheltered area nearby

within short walking distance / be adjusted accordingly, when necessary, to ensure the safety of the trainee(s) while

keeping the training as productive as possible.


Qn: Who is the coach/trainer to take me?

Ans: Glen. Occasionally, Glen may assign any of his relief trainers/coaches to your training sessions, whenever he is unavailable, as part of our service. (Notice will be provided to you beforehand).


Qn: Will the training conducted by the relief coaches/trainers be different?

Ans: It will be the same. We work closely as a team and we strive to standardize our training,

because we either share the same training methodologies, or the trainers'/coaches' training 
are led by Glen - Hence why we are called "Training by Glen".

We always keep each other updated on the progress and things to note of you,

and we follow the same ultimate training program that is catered for you.

So you don't have to worry about the training being different.

The training will always be standardized unless you have any special request.

If you find that the training is different and don't find the flow in your training,

please do not hesitate to inform Glen and his team and we will definitely look into

the matter and do our best to resolve the issue.

If despite all these - you really don't want the relief/assistant trainer/coach to take over every now and then 

and strictly only prefer to stick to one trainer only, and you do not mind the limited schedule availability from the result of this, let us know and we can arrange that for you, no worries.


Qn: Can I extend the expiry date of the package that I've bought?

Ans: Yes, but only under valid circumstances such as unexpected hospitalization, unforeseen prolonged bad weather (haze, etc), stuck overseas, etc. Simply write in to us, with your request to extend, along with your valid reasons. We may require you to produce documents of proof for references. We'll extend the expiry date accordingly in a fair manner, as long as the reasons have found to be valid.

Qns: Do I have to worry about payment?
Ans:
 Not at all. We have 3 good reasons why you can be rest assured. 
Firstly, we only send you invoices via PayPal and accept a small sum of money each time per email coaching.
There's no recurring billing, and you have the full authority to accept to pay each payment as you go.
Secondly, PayPal is one of the world's most safest way to pay for products and services online.
There's buyers and sellers protection.
Thirdly, we are an established business. All our info can be found on this website,
and you may contact us anytime should you encounter any issues.
As such, if you're in doubt, feel free to take all necessary precautions,

Qns: Is Online Fitness Training for me?

2. Question: Where do the coaches coach at? 
Answer:
Basically anywhere in Singapore island-wide. - A location that have obstacles to make use of to practice and train on. If you engage an independent coach from our list,

the training location can be discussed with the coach. 


3. Question: Is it safe to practice outside? Is it safe to practice at all? What are the risks involved? 
Answer:
There will always be risks and danger for any physical activity that you do. And the fact is that, 
Parkour when practiced properly, can be safe with very minimal risks. 
It can be considered safer than other sports such as mountain biking, bmx biking, skating, rugby, basketball, etc. In Parkour, you are in total control of how you move your body.

And it is always a choice to make everytime the practitioner executes a move. 
With proper training, the risk can be reduced to as low as the equivalent to an average person crossing the road - What are the risks of getting hit by a speeding vehicle on an average day? Probably 0.001% Consider this - A person who hardly moves and exercise, decides to run up and down the stairs.

The risk of tripping and falling can probably be about 2% An experienced practitioner who have trained regular for the past 5 years, walks along a thin rail - The probability of him falling is most probably less than 1% Take an untrained person to do the same task - and the probability of him falling, is most likely more than 90% The danger is still the same for all of them, BUT the risk can be minimized through constant intelligent practice and training. Therefore, with proper training, the individual CAN minimize the risks involved! Furthermore Parkour, is a healthy, stimulating activity that will make you a stronger, fitter, more agile and

better person who is more physically capable of moving... 
Practicing and training indoors with padded and cushioned environment and training outside is actually not much different in terms of safety, if you look at the broader picture. Think about this - When you practice outdoors, you would train yourself to be cautious and mindful of controlling all your movements. In training, its all about taking small steps at a time, and a lot of repetition is done in training to gain familiarity with the movements. All this mindful training outdoors will eventually train you to be capable of controlling your movements better when you put Parkour to practical use. After all, Parkour is intended to be a practical art. Parkour is meant to be done outside as real as it can get - if you want your Parkour skills to be practical. 


4. Question: Am I suitable to train for Parkour? 
Answer:
Most passionate practitioners and coaches of Parkour would say that its suitable 
for anyone of all ages, as long as you can move! 
Everyone has to start off from somewhere. It doesn't matter if you're unfit, middle aged, etc.

What's most important is that you have the heart and interest to train Parkour. 
Parkour can be adjusted and scaled accordingly to suit the individual's need for progress.

Parkour is the art of running from point A to B in the fastest most efficient way.

You train Parkour with that aim in mind.

And that does not have to mean jumping across rooftops, and taking big impacts from movements.

Not everyone have to train to jump across roofs.

You can train for Parkour with the ultimate aim in mind, and simply adjust and scale it

accordingly to suit your own individual needs.

Remember, Parkour is to help you become stronger and more capable of moving - 
Therefore you aim to be better than your past self!


Refund:


1. Question: How do I get my refund?

Answer: Simply write in to us with the request, your bank account details, and along with your reasons.

We will refund you as long as there are no issues.


Payment:


1. Question: Why is the bank funds transfer payment due hours or a day before the start of the session?

Answer: Our team requires time to manually check and process the payment. Also, as the coach/trainer needs to prepare for your session, by making the upfront payment, we will know if you have confirmed your session, and we can prepare accordingly for you properly before the start of your session.


2. Question: Why does 'Training by Glen' prefer payment by Bank Funds Transfer or PayPal?

Answer: For a few good reasons - It is usually faster and more convenient. Payment is recorded instantly. Same as how other outcall-service personal trainers, private coaches and businesses that have a booking system, it is a standard practice that we collect upfront payment due to the nature of our outcall service - we go to your preferred location and schedule to train you based on a booking system.


Communication:


1. Question: I've sent an SMS quite some time ago, but haven't received a reply.

Answer: We constantly strive to maintain an above average industry standard of replying instantaneously or

within a few hours. To maintain overall operational efficiency, we reply the fastest to

priority messages such as booking requests. Because of that, sometimes the lower priority messages

such as non-customer related matters, can take up to the next working day, for us to deliver a response.

We work tirelessly, meticulously and systematically to ensure that our phone is always in working condition and

to not miss out any messages at all - It is our rightful duty.

Therefore, it is extremely rare for us to miss out on your messages or calls and not get back to you.

If you haven't received a response within a timely manner, do not hesitate to call our phone.

If you still do not receive a response, check to see if we are temporarily closed for breaks

(Ample notices are always provided and displayed on our website and facebook page).

If we are closed, we will get back to you as soon as we re-open. If we are not closed and you still haven't
