How to make the most out of our training:

Private coaching is a great investment, and can be a very very useful way to learn something new, and improve your fitness, etc.

These are some tips you should use to make the most out of your training

and get the best results you're looking for.

You must be prepared to listen and follow what the coach says when coaching;

Private coaching is a 2 way thing, and it will involve you receiving coaching from a professional. While that professional designs an appropriate program to best suit you, you will have to be prepared to follow the program, and put in your best effort to train. It’s OK to ask questions about why you’re doing certain exercises, etc, but in the end, you either trust your trainer’s expertise or you don’t. Interrupting and arguing can waste time and undermine the dynamic of your relationship, causing frustration for you both. Your coach will have a hard time managing your training program and results if you claim to be exercising more or eating better than you really are. Be candid about what you’re willing to do — then let your coach be frank about the results you can expect.

Respect the stop-watch, number of repetitions, objectives of training, etc;

There’s a reason we, as the coach, is specifying 30- or 60-second breaks between sets and asking you to hold the intensity of cardio intervals for specific durations, do certain distances for

swimming laps, etc. Adhere to that timing, etc, and you’ll see far better results.

Follow through on the self training and diet that are provided to you;

Self training and diet plans may be provided to you whenever necessary.

There are always good reason for them. You will have to follow the plans through fully.

Ditching the diet and self training plan, will affect your progress significantly.

Be a "Yes" person and put your heart into it;

Remember that it takes 2 hands to clap. No matter how good the coach or teacher is, if the student/trainee does not put his mind into it, then nothing will work.

If you want the best results, you have to be willing to follow the coach's training for you 100%

Have an injury? Say “I have an injury” — and let your coach adjust accordingly for you.

But be open to trying new things, even if they don’t come easily at first.

Note for parents whose kids are receiving coaching;

If you do not have experience or very little experience in the training subject at hand,

please refrain from interrupting the coaching by cutting in and teaching your kids something

opposite from what the coach is teaching, as this will confuse the child.

The coach is a professional and have the proper knowledge and experience in

coaching the right stuff, in the right way.

At the end of the day, you've trusted and paid a professional to coach your child, so

to make full use of the coaching sessions, let the coach do their job and provide

your child with the progress and results they need.

We welcome your feedback on our coaching, but it's better to discuss this before

or after the session to avoid interruptions to your child's training.
